The software products and systems listed below were developed according to client specifications and are being actively supported. ISS has not produced any abandonware.

    Single Input Source Multiple Output (SISMO) is an electronic production system. Arising from academic research into clinical decision support, SISMO is used to produce electornic versions of clinical information, allowing the content to be marked up and integrated with a number of information resources.

    SISMO was first used in production in 2003 and has been used for every release of eTG complete ever since.

    Intelsoft offers a powerful, flexible and customisable workflow management platform with these characteristics:

    • Web based SaaS: hosted on your server or as a managed service.
    • Easy definition of data collection forms for each activity in a process.
    • Workflow defined separately to activities, but applying logic to the data collected in activities.
    • Multi-user.
    • User role definition of view, access and edit permission.
    • All database structures auto-generated.

    Workflow management can be complex. Getting it right requires separating the rules and processes, so as to simplify and clarify what is being managed.

    The workflow management platform allows you to:

    • Define a set of activities and all the information that is collected in each activity. This may incude rules within each activity, eg to validate data or to enforce authorisation processes.
    • Define a workflow that connects the activities. The next activity in the workflow is defined by what has happened in the current activity, as well as previous activities.
    • Conditional logic controlling the workflow, allowing flexibility in what workflow patterns are applied.
    • Clear reporting of the current status of each activity in each process.
    • Reporting across all processes, showing where any bottlenecks are occurring.
    • Capacity to change workflow as circumstances change, while allowing current process to adapt to the change appropriately.

    WebQI is an online Quality Improvement service.

    Initially focused on application in health care, WebQI was developed in response to the growing burden of data collection and analysis that health care professionals and organisations are expected to deal with.

    WebQI simplifies the data collection and process, leaving more resources available to interpret the information that is collected. A core component of WebQI is a generic data collection framework that allows:

    • easy specification of data collection
    • automated reporting functions
    • group reporting / comparison reporting
    • self organisation of groups

  • Clinical e-Audit   ( 1 Article )

    Developed for the National Prescribing Service, Clinical e-Audit was first released in early 2007. Clinical e-Audit is a standalone Windows application that allows

    • clinical data collection
    • automatic and immediate analysis of clinical data, including cohort comparison
    • secure encrypted transmission using web protocols.

    Clinical e-Audit has been deployed to General Practitioners nationally.

  • CeA Analyser   ( 1 Article )

    Clinical Analyser is a partner application to Clinical e-Audit and e-DUE. It allows user-friendly management of encrypted data submissions.

    All data is encrypted prior to transmission (using PKI) and is submitted using standard web protocols.

    Clinical Analyser downloads all new submissions, decrypts the submissions and then processes the submissions. This automates all of the administration function of the submission process.
